Our purpose is to:

  • Communicate with our landlord, CAP REIT, on behalf of tenants and make recommendations to maintain a safe, secure and healthy living environment;

  • Inform tenants as to their rights & responsibilities;

  • Respond to Above Guideline Increases (AGI) on behalf of tenants and advocate for fair and reasonable resolutions through the Landlord and Tenants' Board;

  • Promote cooperation and good will between management and tenants;

  • Foster a sense of community.

Our Mission:

355 St. Clair West Tenants' Association is a not-for-profit, community-based group of tenants who advocate for tenants to maintain a safe, healthy living environment.

Membership

Membership is open to all tenants of The Thomas. The yearly membership fee is $40 per unit. Tenants who are members of the Association have the right to vote on recommendations of the Board at general meetings and to participate as Board members.

General Meetings are open to all members of the Association and are held once or twice each year. Special meetings may be held as needed.
